Enable the skill

First things first, you need to download the Amazon Alexa app from the Apple App Store or Google Play before you do anything else. You can get the apps here...


Next, open the app on your tablet and go to “Skills” in the menu. From here search for goodNes and then top “Enable”.

Link your account

Go to “Link Account” within the app and enter your name and email address. This will allow you to connect to our visual guide.

Get to cookin'

To use the goodNes skill just start by saying “Alexa, ask goodNes...” and finish with the type of recipe you want to make.

How do I get started?

It’s easy to set up. Just say, "Alexa, enable GoodNes". You will be prompted for your first name and email your Amazon Alexa mobile app. We only use your email to send you information for the GoodNes™ Amazon Alexa Skill. Follow instructions in the email to started.

What is the Visual Guide for?

Amazon Alexa is a great way to operate handsfree in the kitchen. The Visual Guide is a unique part of the GoodNes™ Amazon Alexa Skill that, once connected, helps you quickly browse, view and cook recipes. You can use the Skill without the Visual Guide, but we think you’ll really enjoy seeing recipe images and visual instructions, especially when cooking your recipe. Don’t worry about getting your tablet or laptop messy in the kitchen. You can control what’s shown on the screen by talking to Amazon Alexa on your Amazon Echo.

Why are you asking for my email address?

We require your email address to send you a unique link to the Visual Guide. We also use your email address if you wish to get a list of ingredients so you can easily buy them at the grocery store.
