INGREDIENTS
- ●2 packages (8 ounces each) SWEET EARTH Enlightened Foods Not Your Basic Black Bean Burger Plant-Based Burgers
- ●2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- ●1 jalapeño, sliced
- ●2 whole wheat sesame buns
- ●Vegan or vegetarian mayonnaise
- ●1 avocado, sliced
- ●1 red onion, thinly sliced
- ●1 cup microgreens
MAKE IT
Step 1
Cook the burgers according to package directions. There are oven and skillet cooking options.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat with 1 tablespoon olive oil; sauté the jalapeños for 5 minutes and set aside.
Step 3
Drizzle the inside of each bun with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Place in a toaster oven and toast until slightly browned.
Step 4
Spread a small amount of mayo over the inside of the buns. Top the bottom bun with avocado, onion and stack 2 veggie burgers on top of each other. Top with grilled jalapeño, microgreens and bun!
