NIDO® 1+ is a powdered milk beverage that is specially formulated for children 1-3 years old. It contains a probiotic, 19 mg Omega-3 DHA and 13 vitamins and minerals to help support your child’s growth, development, and a healthy immune system.

NIDO® Lacto-Ease is a milk beverage for children ages 1-3 with all the same benefits as NIDO® 1+, but with reduced lactose.

NIDO® 3+ is a powdered milk beverage with 12 added vitamins and minerals to help support your child’s healthy development during preschool.

NIDO® Fortificada is a powdered whole milk beverage with added Vitamin C and Iron for healthy growth and development, for older children and the rest of the family.

Probiotics are live organisms, such as bacteria, that are found naturally in humans and added to some food products such as NIDO 1+. There are many different types of probiotics. The probiotic in NIDO (Lactobacillus rhamnosus) along with vitamins A, C, D, iron and zinc help to support a healthy immune system

The shelf life of NIDO 1+, NIDO Fortificada, and NIDO 3+ is 12 months.

The shelf life of NIDO Lacto-Ease is 9 months.

For optimum quality, consume all NIDO® products before the "Best If Used By" date, printed on the bottom of the can.

NIDO® Kinder Deslactosado is the version of NIDO Lacto-Ease that is sold in Mexico, not in the US. NIDO® Lacto-Ease  is sold in the U.S. NIDO® Lacto-Ease has 75% less lactose than NIDO® 1+. 

All NIDO® products are made with real milk ingredients, keeping its rich taste and many of its nutritional benefits, like protein. Each product is specially formulated to provide nourishment for your toddler in a creamy, wholesome drink with gentle honey notes that they will love.

NIDO 1+ is specially made to provide your toddler, ages 1 and up, with 13 essential vitamins and minerals that help support their growth and development: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Vitamin K, Vitamin E, Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Thiamin¸ Selenium and Zinc. Additionally, NIDO 1+ also contains a probiotic and 19 mg Omega-3 DHA.

*As a milk-based product, NIDO 1+ has animal-based ingredients (milk). The added nutrients are synthetic. Vitamin D3 can be derived from lanolin (from sheep) or from fish.

NIDO Fortificada is specially made to provide the members of your family ages 4 and up with vitamins and minerals that help support their growth and development: Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Calcium, Iron and Zinc.

NIDO Fortificada was not reformulated; however, we have updated the Nutrition Facts panel to include all the nutrients found in the product including those that are naturally present in milk. Previously, we only included a select few nutrients.

The difference between the old and new NIDO Fortificada labels are the vitamins and minerals declared on the label. See the Nutrition Facts Panel for further details.

Add 4 scoops of NIDO® 1+ (or ¼ cup) to 1 cup (8 fl oz) of warm water; mix well. (1 scoop of NIDO® = 1 Tablespoon)

To prevent clumping, ensure that the utensil is dry before scooping the NIDO® powder. When preparing, make sure to always add NIDO® powder to water, not the reverse.

One (1) scoop of NIDO® 1+ powdered milk beverage is equal to 1 tablespoon.

Once prepared, NIDO® toddler milk should be consumed immediately to maintain the nutrients' freshness. Whenever you need more than a day's worth of toddler milk, it is best to separate extra servings in powder form and mix right before giving them to your little one to ensure the highest level of freshness. No, NIDO® powdered milk beverage is not a baby formula. NIDO® products are only intended for children ages 1 year and older.

Doctors recommend breast milk or formula as the primary source of nutrition for children up to 1 year of age.

Yes, NIDO® 1+ can substitute for regular liquid milk in recipes and is a great way to incorporate NIDO® 1+ into your child’s nutrition. In recipes, substitute one (1) cup of prepared NIDO® 1+ for one (1) cup of regular liquid milk.
