Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 can (14 ounces) NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 (0.63 ounces each) NESTLÉ® CARLOS V® Milk Chocolate Style Bars, broken in half

Make It

Step 1

Beat butter until creamy; add sweetened condensed milk and egg. While continuing to beat, little by little add flour, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and baking powder until you obtain a soft dough. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350° F. Form dough into balls; place a piece of Carlos V chocolate in the center of each dough ball. Place the cookies on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until lightly golden.

Step 3

Drizzle with a little melted Carlos V® Chocolate.
Culinary tip
You can add walnut pieces in the dough.
