  • 2 packets (0.5 ounce) unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 can (12 fluid ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup NESTLÉ® ABUELITA™ Granulated Chocolate Drink Mix
  • 2 packets (0.5 ounce) unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 can (12 fluid ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Make It
Step 1
For both gelatins: Sprinkle the gelatin in hot water in separate bowls and mix to dissolve. Set aside.
Step 2
Chocolate Gelatin: Heat the milk with the evaporated milk and the condensed milk, and when it starts to boil mix in NESTLÉ® ABUELITA™ Granulated Chocolate Drink Mix and stir until it is incorporated; remove from the heat. Stir in the gelatin mixture until it is completely incorporated. Set aside.
Step 3
Banana Gelatin: Blend evaporated milk, milk, bananas, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour gelatin mixture into the banana mixture and blend again to incorporate.
Step 4
Pour half of chocolate gelatin mixture in a mold. Place in refrigerator to firm for 45 minutes. Pour all of banana gelatin mixture over chocolate mixture and place back in the fridge for 1 hour. Pour remaining half of chocolate mixture over banana mixture and refrigerate until completely set a minimum of 3 hours. Unmold and sprinkle the top with salted peanuts, if desired.
