Abuelita Chocolate Flan is a Mexican dessert that’s easy to prepare with just a few simple steps, ideal for both beginner and experienced cooks. Its combination of granulated chocolate drink mix and creamy milks creates a luscious texture that is both smooth and indulgent. With this flan dessert, you can enjoy a delightful blend of flavors with every bite, making it an excellent choice for any special occasion or casual gathering.

MAKE IT

Step 1

Heat sugar in a small saucepan until melted and caramel colored. Pour into a flan mold; tilt the mold to cover bottom and side.

Step 2

Place Abuelita Chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk and eggs in a blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Step 3

Pour mixture into flan mold; cover tightly with foil. Fill a pressure cookier with water to 1-inch depth. Place flan mold into pressure cooker. Cook for 20 minutes. Let cool; unmold. Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve.
