- ●3/4 pound fresh chorizo, casing removed
- ●2 tablespoons butter
- ●3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ●2 cups whole milk
- ●1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ●1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ●8 ounces shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ●1 can (7.6 fluid ounces) NESTLÉ® Media Crema Table Cream
MAKE IT
Step 1
Cook chorizo in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 7 to 8 minutes or until chorizo is browned.
Step 2
Add butter; stir until melted. Sprinkle in flour; stir well for about 2 minutes.
Step 3
Slowly add milk and stir with a whisk or wooden spoon until milk is fully incorporated.
Step 4
Reduce heat to low; stir until milk begins to thicken and cook for 2 more minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat; add cheese and stir until melted. Stir in Media Crema.
Step 6
Transfer to a bowl and enjoy!
