Make It

Step 1

Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat without boiling; remove from heat. In a large bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and cornstarch. Pour in hot milk a little at a time, stirring until the ingredients are dissolved and any lumps disappear.

Step 2

Transfer mixture to saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Transfer to a container and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until very cold.

Step 3

Beat pudding on high speed with a hand mixer until very smooth.

Step 4

Put a layer of pudding in a dish or in individual molds; then layer with some cookies and banana slices. Finish with another layer of pudding, cookies and banana slices. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve.
