- ●3 tablespoons butter
- ●2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- ●10 ounces broccoli, cooked and cut into pieces
- ●1 1/2 cups water
- ●1 can (12 fluid ounces) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
- ●1 can (7.6 ounces) NESTLÉ® Media Crema
- ●1 1/2 tablespoons MAGGI® Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
- ●1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ●1 large potato, peeled, cooked and mashed
- ●1/4 teaspoon salt
- ●1/3 cup wheat flour
- ●Corn oil
- ●2 sprigs fresh parsley
MAKE IT
Step 1
Melt the butter and cook the onion with the broccoli for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 2
Blend the broccoli mixture with water, evaporated milk, NESTLÉ® Media Crema, chicken bouillon and cornstarch. Heat in a large saucepan until it thickens slightly, stirring constantly to avoid sticking.
Step 3
Mix mashed potatoes with salt and half of the flour. Form into balls; roll in remaining flour. Heat oil in a small skillet; fry potato balls in the hot oil. Serve the cream with the potato balls; garnish with parsley.
Step 4
Tip: You can add a little nutmeg.
