- ●1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter

- ●1/3 teaspoon salt

MAKE IT
Step 1
Cook pasta according to manufacturer’s instructions. Drain pasta and set aside in a bowl and cover to retain some of the heat.
Step 2
Heat oil over medium heat in a large sauté pan. Then add onion and peppers; sauté 2-3 minutes until onion is translucent. Then add tomatoes, garlic, and peas; cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat, and set pan aside for use later.
Step 3
Melt butter in small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in flour and whisk together for 1 minute, then add salt and pepper. Gradually add media crema, cheese, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes just to a boil. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Drain tuna and break apart into pieces.
Step 5
Bring sauté pan with vegetables back to medium-low heat; add pasta and warm through. Then add cream sauce and tuna and mix to combine.
Step 6
If desired, top with additional Parmesan prior to serving.
