- ●8 ounces chorizo, crumbled
- ●1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- ●1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
- ●2 tablespoons chipotle chili powder
- ●1 can (7.6 ounces) NESTLÉ® Media Crema
- ●12 corn tortillas, warmed
- ●Corn oil
- ●1/2 head romaine lettuce
- ●8 ounces grated cheddar cheese
- ●Additional NESTLÉ® Media Crema, chilled
- ●2 ounces chorizo, fried and chopped
MAKE IT
Step 1
Fry 8 ounces chorizo until golden brown; add onion and cook until transparent. Add beans, chipotle chili powder and 1 can NESTLÉ® Media Crema. Cook until thickened; set aside to cool.
Step 2
Fill the tortillas with the bean and chorizo mixture; roll up and hold with wooden picks. Heat the oil; fry the tacos and place on paper towels to remove excess fat.
Step 3
Serve the tacos with a little lettuce, cheese, additional NESTLÉ® Media Crema and garnish with fried chorizo.

Tip: Try substituting mashed potatoes for the beans.
