Ingredients
- ●4 cups water
- ●1 cup sea salt
- ●6 tablespoons Maggi® Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
- ●2 tablespoons allspice berries
- ●12 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- ●6 bay leaves
- ●2 lemons, sliced
- ●2 gallons cold water
- ●14- to 16-pound turkey, neck and giblets removed
Make It
Step 1
Bring 4 cups water, salt, bouillon, allspice, garlic, bay leaves and lemon slices to a boil in a medium saucepan; boil, stirring frequently, until salt is dissolved.
Step 2
Remove turkey from brine; rinse inside and out with cold water. Discard brine.
Step 3
Prepare turkey as desired.
