The Secret Ingredient
- ●6 1/4 cups water
- ●1 cup dried seaweed, cut into strips
- ●6 MAGGI® Vegetable Flavor Bouillon Cubes
- ●1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- ●1/4 cup chopped chives
- ●2 cups diced tofu
- ●3 tablespoons miso paste
- ●1/2 cup dried shiitake mushrooms
Bring the water to a boil; dissolve the MAGGI® Vegetable Bouillon in the water.
Add mushrooms and onion and boil for a few minutes. Once the mushrooms are hydrated, remove 1 cup of the liquid. Add miso to the removed liquid; stir to dissolve.
Add tofu and chives; bring it back to a boil and remove from heat. Add seaweed and miso mixture; serve immediately.
