- ●4 1/2 cups water
- ●1 cinnamon stick
- ●1 cup rice, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes and drained
- ●1 can (14 ounces) NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- ●1 can (12 fluid ounces) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
- ●1/2 cup raisins
- ●1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ●6 fresh mint leaves
Make It
Step 1
Heat the water and cinnamon stick in large saucepan until boiling; add the rice and cook for 20 minutes on high heat or until rice is tender.
Step 2
Add sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk to rice mixture. Reduce heat to low; continue cooking, stirring occasionally for 20 to 25 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 3
Serve warm or cold topped with raisins, ground cinnamon and mint leaves.
Recipe Notes
Can also serve with diced apples and blueberries.
