- ●2 1/4 cups NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Lactose-Free Evaporated Milk, divided
- ●1/2 cup medium or short grain rice
- ●3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ●2 tablespoons NESTLÉ LA LECHERA Lactose-Free Sweetened Condensed Milk
- ●1/2 vanilla bean pod (or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract)
Make It
Step 1
Place 2 cups evaporated milk, rice and sugar in medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium-low heat until gently boiling. Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes or until rice is tender and mixture is thickened.
Step 2
Remove from heat; stir in sweetened condensed milk and remaining ¼ cup evaporated milk. Scrape out inside of vanilla bean pod; stir into rice pudding. Transfer to serving dishes; serve warm.
