Make It
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Step 2
Mix the eggs, sugar, oil, and NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk until fully combined. Add the grated carrot, walnuts, flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 9-inch round cake pan and bake at 350 °F for 50 to 55 minutes.
Step 3
For the frosting, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk and heavy cream. Divide a small portion of the frosting into two bowls, tinting one with orange food coloring and the other with green food coloring. Transfer the colored frostings to piping bags and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Unmold the cake and decorate with the white frosting and use the colored frostings to pipe small carrot shapes. Serve and enjoy!
You can add vanilla extract to the frosting to enhance its flavor.
