Step 1

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Step 2

Beat the butter until creamy, then add the NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk, the eggs one by one, the all-purpose flour, the baking powder, the syrup, and ½ cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, mixing until fully combined.

Step 3

Line the bottom of a greased and floured cake pan with parchment paper; pour the sugar into the bottom of the pan, arrange the pineapple slices, and fill the gaps with the cherries. Pour the previous mixture over the top and bake at 350 °F for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean; let it cool.

Step 4

Unmold and decorate with some cherries and flowers. Enjoy.

Culinary tip:

You can add a bit of ground cinnamon to the cake mixture. You can substitute the pineapple with banana slices.
