Jugo Seasoning Sauce


  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 6 (about 3 to 4 ounces each) boneless salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tamarind concentrate
  • 4 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup minced leeks
  • 1 teaspoon MAGGI® Seasoning Sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Make It

Step 1

For the sauce, combine tamarind concentrate, garlic, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, leeks, MAGGI® Seasoning Sauce, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat balsamic vinegar and rosemary in small saucepan over medium heat; cook until reduced by half.

Step 3

Season the salmon with Italian seasoning, pepper and half the olive oil; let rest for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Heat grill or frying pan; grease with remaining oil. Cook for 4 minutes on each side, basting with vinegar rosemary reduction. Remove from grill and serve with reserved sauce.
