  • Broccolini, or baby broccoli, is actually a cross between broccoli and Chinese kale. This version is delicious sauteed in a pan and seasoned with garlic, red pepper and lemon.

  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound trimmed broccolini
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon MAGGI Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Make It

Step 1

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and crushed red pepper flakes; cook, stirring frequently, for 30 seconds. Add broccolini; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low.

Step 2

Add water and bouillon; cover. Cook for 6 minutes or until tender.

Step 3

Stir in lemon juice and lemon peel; toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
