Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a pie dish. Beat butter and sugar until creamy; add flour and water little by little until it forms a soft dough. On a floured surface, lightly knead the dough and use a rolling pin to flatten the dough. Place dough into prepared pie dish; trim off excess dough. With the leftover dough, cut figures in the shape of leaves and set aside.

Step 2

Mash sweet potatoes with a fork until smooth.

Step 3

Beat mashed sweet potatoes, sweetened condensed milk, salt, eggs, cinnamon and ginger. Pour into pie dish; garnish with dough leaves. Bake for 30 minutes; remove from oven and let cool.
