- ●3 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter), divided
- ●1/2 tablespoon cashews
- ●1/2 tablespoon almonds
- ●2 cups full fat milk
- ●1/3 cup NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- ●4 to 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ●1 1/4 cups cooked rice
- ●1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Make It
Step 1
Heat 1 teaspoon ghee in a nonstick pan and roast cashews and almonds. Remove and set aside.
Step 2
Place milk, La Lechera Sweetened Condensed Milk, sugar and cooked rice in the same pan.
Step 3
Stir and cook over low heat for 12 to 15 minutes or until milk is absorbed and mixture becomes medium thick.
Step 4
Add ground nutmeg and remaining 2 teaspoons of ghee and mix well.
Step 5
Transfer to bowls; garnish with roasted cashews and almonds.
Step 6
Serve warm or cold (refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving).
