The Secret Ingredient
Ingredients
- ●3 cups cubed fresh pineapple
- ●1/2 onion, roasted
- ●2 serrano chiles, roasted, stems removed
- ●2 cloves garlic, roasted
- ●3 1/2 tablespoons MAGGI® Jugo Seasoning Sauce, divided
- ●1/2 teaspoon salt
- ●2 pounds skirt steak
- ●4 small nopales, sliced
- ●8 spring onions, cut in half lengthwise
- ●1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- ●2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ●1 tablespoon corn oil
- ●8 corn tortillas, warmed
Make It
Step 1
Place pineapple, onion, chiles, garlic, 1 ½ tablespoons MAGGI® Seasoning Sauce and salt in a blender; cover. Blend for a few seconds; set aside.
Step 2
Combine steak, nopales, onions, tomatoes, remaining 2 tablespoons MAGGI® Seasoning Sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a shallow dish. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Step 3
Spread a little pineapple salsa on the meat. Add oil to a grill pan and heat over medium heat. Add steak and vegetable mixture and cook until meat is done. Serve with tortillas and remaining pineapple salsa.
You can add a habanero pepper to the sauce.
